Those of you that read my sister, Rachel’s blog already know that my Grandpa is in the hospital. Rehab to be exact. He had surgery for acute hemotosis which basically means that he had a stroke and blood was pooling between his brain and his skull. Yeah, sounds like fun.

He is doing amazingly well and has full use of both sides of his body, so now he has been moved from Intensive Care to Rehab. For therapy he gets to count money and put pieces of pipe together so, according to Grandma, he’s doing things he’s good at (haahaa!). We went to visit him in rehab yesterday and I was kicking myself that I didn’t bring a camera because the word “rehab” was stamped on everything. I guess we will just have to go up to visit him again and bring a camera with.

In the meantime, we’re busy at home taking pictures and playing.

Here’s Tucker scouting out some good hunting spots. The boys watching some cartoons.
Trying on their new backpacks. Tucker’s was a little heavy.

Doing “whole bodies” (Jackson’s terminology for ‘pilates’).

And having cousin R. over to play. Poor guy-I made him try on all sorts of hats and sit for pictures as soon as he got here. He was a good sport, though, and he even got to take a hat home.
