On Monday I brought the boys to the grocery store because we were completely out of food. I actually thought that both boys were very well behaved. Tucker slept in the cart the entire time and Jackson stayed buckled up. The employee who carried our groceries out for us apparently did not share my thoughts. I had to carry both both boys because Jackson would not hold my hand. When we got to the car I suggested to Jackson that he help me open the trunk (as a futile attempt to get him to stay in one spot). Instead, he began running in circles around the car. As he set my groceries in the trunk, the old guy said, “He’s not very obedient”. He just stated it very matter of fact and then walked away.
Well! Excuse me! Next time tell me something that I don’t know! Haahaaa!
I know my kids are very ill behaved…..
On Tuesday I brought the boys to the library for story time and of course every one else had two children, but their children all sat quietly and listened to Miss Erin read. Not mine. Jackson would run in one direction and Tucker would run in the other. While I was trying to pry Tucker away from the video equipment and extension cords, Jackson would be busy on the other side of the room trying to open the dry erase markers.
As we left, Jackson ran to the dead bird display (I don’t know what else to call it) and disrupted the peace of the library by screaming, “Look Mama! Birds! What kind of bird is that?” As I tried to drag him away, he did the slippery noodle and fell on the floor. I happened to look up and who should be standing there but none other than: Grocery Store Guy!
Dang it.
Hahahah! I wish I had been there to laugh hysterically! I can only look forward to the chaos that will happen when we take our kids out together!!
You need to write a book Anna. You just need to.
hahahhahahhahha, oh yes, you really need to.
