Idaho
My youngest brother decided to move to Idaho and get married, so you know what that means in my family – ROAD TRIP!
We stopped at the Browning factory outlet in Utah on our way to Boise. It was kind of a let down, smelled terrible, and the restroom floor looked like it was covered in pee. It was nasty. But, it’s all part of the experience, right?
My brother was getting married on a Friday, so we left early Thursday morning and arrived in Boise just in time for supper. My mom and grandma were already there and my dad, who drove cross-country in an RV with my sisters and their families, arrived a few minutes after us. I haven’t seen my grandma and one of my sisters in about three years, so you can imagine how excited I was. One of my other brothers was also there with his wife who I had not even met!
The cousins were so excited to see each other and started a game of tag around the tables. We were able to get them to stand still long enough for a quick picture with the grandparents and then it was off to the races again.
The boys were beyond excited to have their own bedroom at the hotel with a tv and a desk! We brought blankets and pillows from home and they made themselves comfortable. We let them pick out snacks at the front desk to eat in bed while they watched cartoons. They thought that they were really living the high life.
Jackson slept in the next morning, so I went to get some breakfast with T-man. Breakfast is his favorite meal of the day so he loaded up.
We went to lunch with some of my family and Tucker worked on math problems with my aunt.
She rocked his world with new math concepts and he spent the next few days telling me all the new ways that he learned to add numbers and then worked out math problems on hotel stationery as soon as he got up the next two mornings.
After lunch, we changed into our fancy clothes and met the rest of our family for wedding pictures! My brother, Eddy and his wife ended up being delayed so their flight landed just in time for pictures. (Every decent picture in this post was taken by my sister or the bride’s sister).
Everyone except my older sister’s husband were able to make it to the wedding and we even got a picture to commemorate all of us being in the same place at the same time.
The original six with spouses…….and Seth rocked his sunglasses in every picture without anyone noticing. I rocked my super white legs and, as you can see, we have the prom pose down pat. Level reached: douche-tastic.
My sweet little brothers. I can’t believe how grown up they are! Sniff.
Baby brother with my parents and grandma.
And the bride and groom with all the cousins!
Getting married!
Welcome to the married club brother!
Tucker ditched me to sit by my aunt. Can we say major crush? When we got home and were showing my in-laws pictures from the trip, Tucker made sure to point her out in every picture. What can I say, he has great taste in women!
We tried to get pictures with family, but after we got home, I realized that I missed getting pictures with pretty much all of my siblings except for Eddy and Bethany.
We did get one with my aunt and uncle. Yes, we’re related in case you couldn’t tell.

The brothers with the sisters! I always thought it was so cool that my dad and his brother married sisters.
It was so nice to see everyone but we definitely did not get enough time together!
