We went fishing in early March and the boys were so worn out that Jackson fell asleep on the way home.
Our first stop was too snowy so we stretched our legs a little and drove to a different spot. 
The gate to the next spot is still closed this time of year but there are usually several cars parked there on the weekends and everyone just walks in to fish. 
We were the only people there so I let the boys run wild. 
Seth caught several fish and it’s safe to say that he had a good time too.
So……my oldest son turned 9 at the beginning of March and I never posted about it. Let’s be honest though, I’ve never claimed to be mother of the year or anything.
Oh, and we celebrated our 12th anniversary. Time flies with this guy!
Dale and Collette watched the boys that weekend and we brought Ruger on a little fishing trip and along for some patio eats.
Seth’s uncle was also visiting from North Dakota so we drove around the mountains with him one day and did a little hiking.
The boys found two rocks that they decided should be chairs or sniper nests and it was difficult to get them to leave.
So, there you have it – we were so busy having fun in March that I didn’t find the time to share what it was that we were having fun doing!
