We all knew this day was coming and that Tucker’s hair would need to be cut, but I was planning to trim it myself so that he could still have a little length on top.
Here’s what Tucker’s hair looked like two weeks ago. The electrical tape on his face is his attempt at a beard. Maybe he was trying to cover up the face painting from daycare?
About a week ago, when we sent the boys into the bathroom to brush their teeth before bedtime, Jackson decided to take matters into his own hands and “trim” Tucker’s hair himself. It was so bad, that I had to get the clippers out to finish the job.
When I asked why he thought cutting Tucker’s hair would be a good idea, Jackson turned to look at himself in the mirror and replied (while stroking his locks), “because I wanted to be the only one with long, beautiful hair”.
Tucker’s hair is so light that he now looks bald.
And yes Dad, the first thing I noticed was that:
“He doesn’t have any eyebrows!”
I like that Jackson strokes his locks. Tucker looks really cute and grown up with that haircut.
I love his reasoning oh Jackson. I didn’t hear that part of it.
