Now that I have everyone all hot and bothered about the changes that are fast approaching, here’s a little hint.
I have two boys. Other than Tucker’s strange fascination with shoes and the fact that our church referred to Jackson as a “her” in a letter they sent saying he was too old for the nursery, both Jackson and Tucker are unmistakeably boys. This is Lydia. The only childhood doll that I ever liked. For the most part, I couldn’t figure out what to do with dolls so I would usually ask my mom to babysit them (so they wouldn’t feel lonely, of course) and I would go play outside. Lydia was different. She had a cute little wardrobe and because I was so eco-friendly I even made her some little cloth diapers. Obviously because I have two boys and have no plans to produce any more offspring I no longer have any reason to keep Lydia. As a result of our preparations for “The Change” I decided that I should free Lydia from the Rubbermaid tub that she has been in for the last 6 years and give her to my niece, Gracie. I also either threw away or sold everything else that was in that tub last Saturday on our garage sale. Speaking of garage sale, we sold about half of our earthly belongings on that sale. I will never quite recover from the realization that our house harbored so much crap!
Now what does that tell you? Have you figured it out yet, or do you want a few more hints?
are you guys moving?!? i can’t take the suspense any longer!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ooo I know I know!!
I don’t remember Lydia. I only remember your rag doll.
