This little guy is turning 3 in a few weeks and I have been busy planning the perfect party for him. Okay, not really. I’m in the category of waiting until the last minute to plan things like this. Did you notice that I didn’t post a picture of Seth’s birthday cake? He had one, but it was so ugly I couldn’t bring myself to even take a picture of it. I slapped together a German chocolate bundt cake at the last minute and threw some Hershey’s kisses in the batter. That was about it. So much for my plans to make him a totally awesome fishing themed cake! Again, waiting until the last minute doesn’t pay.
Alright, back to Jackson. His first birthday was “Cars” and his second was “Elmo”. Right now, he’s obsessed with SpongeBob, so I’m trying to figure out how to make him a SpongeBob cake. Maybe yellow fondant? If anyone has any ideas or websites with a SpongeBob cake that I can copy I would be forever grateful! I’m all about not using any creative part of my brain if I can help it. Sponging (get it?) ideas from other people is more my style.
Leave comments below and have a great day.
Over and out. (I sponged that one).

good luck with your endeavor! WOO HOO!
Well neither of mine are as cool looking as Molly’s, but o well.
The first link has a recipe at the bottom for a sand pail cake and then you could just put your little stuffed sponge bob on top of it or something.

The second is a cake pan… hahah!! You would have to buy it and pay for shipping but then you could probably just use a cake mix and some different frostings.

I say you just frost a cake with yellow frosting and stick your little sponge bob on top or something.
I’m all about the lazy way out
Woohoo for the lazy way! That is the way I would go. But I know that you stay-at-home-moms have time coming out of your ears so you can do something fun, I’m actualy expcting something spectacular. j/k, i know you don’t have as much time as i am envisioning.
