Vinegar

So I have decided to start cleaning with vinegar. I feel like trying the “green” thing for a while. We’ll see how long it lasts. I do love my cleaning products and I don’t know if I will be able to bear not having them. Don’t get me wrong. It’s not like I use them very often, but I really get a lot of enjoyment out of buying cleaning products. Every new product that comes out is more tantalizing than the last. Buying a bottle of vinegar seems so boring! I do like the smell though. It reminds me of making pickles. I should add a little dill to the bottle too……Why didn’t I grow cucumbers and dill this year? I could have filled a bottle with vinegar and water, a little dill, and some cucumbers and presto! I could clean and make pickles at the same time!

Anyway, Seth’s parents moved out this past weekend after a little over a year and 7 months. They left a lot of stuff behind though, so I’m sure we will be seeing a lot more of them in the days to come. I am so excited to have double the square footage! We’re going to move our dining room table in from the shed out back and we can move our couches back into the family room downstairs. But, I am most excited about being able to throw all the boys’ toys downstairs! Our upstairs does not have a very open floor plan so any attempt I make to get to the fridge from anywhere in the house is quickly thwarted by all the toys in my path.

I’ve noticed that my life seems to center around food….That’s not really the case, it just seems like it!
